Not sure that's true.
I think humor is something that becomes competitive to men in a way that it does not to women. Men judge each other by how funny they are. I don't think women do.

Women like to be around other people just the same as men like to be around other people that are fun to be around
They value humor. honesty, intelligence and loyalty just like men value humor, honesty intelligence and loyalty
they frick based on income and how much or little attention their fathers gave them
