re: Catalpa worms- what happened to them?
Posted by indytiger on 6/2/24 at 2:46 am
I can bring whatever you order and pay for . I have frozen catalpa worms, pupa, live starter worms, seed packets, 3 sizes of trees and a book.
Did he mention prices on anything, or what size trees he'd have? Would love a couple out by my pond....
re: Olympic gold medalist wrestler Gable Steveson signs with the Bills

The Bills also had experience with an inexperienced lineman that worked out pretty good. Jason Peters was a massive tight end at Arkansas, and they moved him to tackle when he got drafted by the Bills. His size and great athleticism helped him overcome the lack of experience and he went to 9 pro b...
There is a Veterans disability pension that you can get with an honorable discharge even if you didn't retire. At 65 I think you automatically qualify as disabled. Not a well known or publicised benefit.
There is an active duty requirement of like 36 months to qualify.
Where to buy good hot dogs on the Northshore?

I’m talking deli style dogs like you get up north or on the east coast. Not Nathan’s or Hebrew National. Most of the groceries I’ve checked carry the usual suspects. ...

Not to hijack your topic, but I hadn't heard about this one until you mentioned it. I love a vampire movie, and I imagine Bill Skarsgard and Willem Dafoe will make it a good one....

re: Mustard Algae in Pool
Posted by indytiger on 5/21/24 at 10:36 pm
I haven’t had mustard algae since I started the trouble free pool method
I did have it bad before that though. And I used a yellow algaeicde with the ingredient sodium bromide that worked good. They sell several yellow algae chemicals at the pool store but the one with sodium bromide worked. ...
re: Best catfish restaurants in the state?

There's a country diner in Carrierre, MS called Sherral's. They do a lunch buffet which is great, and on days they have catfish, it is some of my favorite. You can also order off the menu if buffets aren't your thing....

I lost a big one last year. We've got probably 20 on our property and have no clue why this one decided to croak.
A month or 2 ago they all got some yellow leaves, so I gave them a dose of iron and some osmocote and they all look great now. ...
