Highly doubtful. He's exactly the type of player BK said he doesn't want to buy. He doesn't have a problem paying players unless you make it your entire identity which clearly this guy is doing. Locker room cancer potentially. ...

I think you're looking at it wrong. Boosters were donating money senselessly long before NIL ever happened. That's the point. You're also looking at it wrong in that they're getting nothing out of it.

Before Skenes came to LSU Nola is the best pitcher I've ever seen at the program. His command and control was unrivaled. He could paint the corner of the plates at will. Wrong. He's saying what I've said in here repeatedly -- he doesn't care that players are making money. The entire LSU team is. He's not going to pay for a player who only wants money. That's the difference because it divides our locker room like it did at A&M. He's absolutely right. ...

Based on the fact he has offers from all the big universities in the country. That should tell you right there scouting thinks he's elite. If he goes to Texas it will be a huge loss for LSU.
