re: Besides your kids, have you ever loaned money to someone and not been paid back?
Posted by auwaterfowler on 5/31/24 at 2:15 pm
Yep. What I learned is that you NEVER let family or friends borrow money. If you can afford it, you can give it to them with no expectation of it being returned, but never loan it to them. Always best to properly manage expectations so as to reduce risk of anger and/or hurt feelings. ...

Are you a doctor? If not, I’d say a top-of-the-line IUD or birth control implant so you don’t end up raising Dr Jody’s kid….unless that’s your thing. And if it is, no judgment from me. Let your freak flag fly....

I see some foreshadowing in that picture. She looks like she’s using one of those electrolarynx talk boxes. She’s not, but I’d say there’s a good chance of it in her future....
re: “Tires” starring Shane Gillis out on Netflix May 23

Honest to God, this reminds me of our local tire shop since the original owner sold it to a rich guy that wanted something for his kid to do. Shouldn’t be long and that tire place will become the 5th business they have sunk....
re: Opinions on the no calorie/low calorie hemp THC seltzer water products?

Tried some Easy Hemp Company with 3 mg each of Delta 9 THC and CBD. Like it a lot. 1 can gets me happy and calm and has definite sleep benefits. 2 cans will get you a bit fricked up. Haven’t tried more. ...
Building Science Auburn University
Building Science isn’t a Masters (I don’t think), but that is a degree that’s hard to beat. You will likely make 6 figures right out of college, and if you aspire to make mega money, this is a field you can absolutely do it in with some determina...
Why young?
Plenty of old, white guys got into med school back in the day. Not nearly as many in recent years. It’s especially hard for white men to get into competitive specialties. Just take a look at Stanford’s General Surgery residents. Only a couple of white guys in the whole p...

Almost 25% of their students failed shelf exams (exams at the end of each 4-8 week clinical clerkship). Know how many UAB med students in the Huntsville Hospital cohort failed shelf exams last year? None!!! UCLA’s numbers are truly abysmal!
Here’s a sad but true statement: When picking a new doct...

Opinions on the no calorie/low calorie hemp THC seltzer water products?
Posted by auwaterfowler on 5/19/24 at 9:39 am
I’m definitely interested in something to drink before bed that will help me sleep better, has no calories, with no risk of feeling like crap the next day.
What is the proper amount of THC to start with for someone who has never had THC? I see 2.5 mg up to 100 mg per can. Quite a wide range. I s...
