Yep, a guy I work with his wife has rocky mountain tick syndrome, she stayed at the doctors office before getting diagnosed. Has had heart issues ever since.

I am alergic to deet, so treat all of my clothes with permitherin. All the guys at work wear flea collars around their boots.
I also keep the extra strong lint rollers and use it before I get in the truck. Amazing what that thing will pick up.

This is just when I am traveling. I always have someone i am picking up and such, so when they are on the backseat its a bit of an issue. If its too hot they will eitther be in the truck or I will bring them into the hotel. ...
