The Wofford game today will be tougher than the Wofford game on Friday and that one went down to the wire. We have a lot going against us-- emotion, pitching, quick turnaround... these losers bracket games are tough for the team that lost the night before. Hope LSU can pull it out but it's far from ...

Braswell, Milam, White, Jones 1-4 should be a given. You can start whoever you want 5-9 and order them however you like. It's the same production potential any way.
Vs RHP I'm going Neal, Travinski, Larson, Brown, Pearson. Vs. LHP I'm going Travinski, Frey, Bingham, Kling, Milazzo....

They have 1 stud hitter and 0 stud pitchers and a bunch of other solid players. They won't win it all. They aren't close to LSU last year. They aren't close to Tennessee this year. Tennessee ain't close to LSU last year....

These 4 pitchers are sitting in the stands: Chase Shores, Cam Johnson, Christian Little, Jaden Noot. Think about the recruiting rankings of those 4.... I'm gonna say that's the best rotation sitting in the stands at any regional.

Give me Holman vs. Wofford and Jump vs. UNC. Both lineups are stacked statistically. Wofford is 6 right/3 left. UNC is 4 right/4 left/1 switch. Give me Ack in a 2nd game vs. UNC, Hurd if we had to play a 2nd vs. Wofford. If we had to play Long Island, throw Dutton....

This is extremely hard at this point... This is who I would start when factoring in overall offensive and defensive ability, along with intangibles...
1. CF - Dylan Crews

Well great cause they better... They underachieved in conference play and in the regular season in general not getting a top 8 seed. This team was always WCWS or bust. If they don't win this weekend, it will be a bust-- and should predicate a coaching change....

The bubble is very weak. The conference record is the only negative. 13-17 with an RPI in the 20's with not a lot of strong cases for the final handful of spots will be good enough....

All 3 12 win teams that got in were 12-17 because they missed a game. LSU isn't getting in at 12-18....

RPI isn't the only metric used bud. Does LSU deserve to be in based on overall body of work? Absolutely. Unfortunately, conference record plays a big part in the selection. The top 12 in the SEC all deserve to be in based on overall body of work. They won't all 12 get in......
