What should he have done differently?...

Are these solid or are they a rip off? Not OT baller status since I can’t afford Rolex or Patek Phillipe but this seems to be a nice quality at a much more reasonable price. Looking at one priced at around $800 so a little extravagant but hopefully something that should last a long time. ETA...
