My disposal wasn’t working when I got home about 30min after getting notice the power was back. It was burning hot. I’m guessing was on when it came back on and burned up.

I unplugged mine before I left because I kept hitting the button out of habit and have no clue if it’s on or not.

I have a whole home generator, I just think it’s bullshite what they are doing to residents. Just two blocks over there has been power for days, it’s inexcusable to have no one working this area and it’s because this city is incorporated on its own - even though we pay an outsized portion of taxes in this shithole county.

Looks like a big FU to the west side of the beltway south of I10. Amazing how bad CenterPoint has been with this stuff.

So many of us in areas that had nothing to do with down transmission towers have to wait until Wednesday to get power? Just wow.

See if you have a reset button on the bottom of the disposal. If yes push it & see if it will work.

Fun fact. If your disposal clogs up it’ll drain into your dishwasher, which will over flow onto the floor.

Additional fun fact, the inverter in the GX460 won’t run a shop vac and you’ll have to ladle out 2 gallons of water to keep it from ruining your floor.

Still w/o power but supposed to have it back on tomorrow at some point.

Generator is throwing the breaker on high mode but this portable AC unit rocks your socks

Hope all you guys improved your situations today

Absolutely insane that inside the loop is going to take another 2-3 days to get up, especially when so many areas through the middle of it and just outside have power

I understand Spring Branch being days after driving through it. That area is beyond fricked.
