Hard to believe Alabama is better than LSU in baseball. How the mighty have fallen.

Come on. I know the series on paper went to Bama, but we all know how game 1 was blown by LSU for the series.

Ole Miss was 14-16 in the SEC in 2022 and barely made it in. Not saying I expect that kind of run, but this team has young talent if they can get on a run.

They also were 4-6 in SEC series that year, which we’ll get to with a series win over ole miss. If that matters.

How in the WORLD did LSU not sweep both Missouri and Auburn? Those two are terrible

Kendall Rogers said we just need to get to 13 SEC wins even if it’s winning games in Hoover and we should get in. Says overall schedule is good enough and RPI should be in twenties with 13 wins.

No SEC team has ever made the NCAA’s with a 12-18 record.

12-17 has though. 2021 Alabama. One game was canceled and not played later.RPI probably will have a lot to do with it.

LSU has not swept anyone this year. No point in getting hopes up now. That first game choke job at Bama pretty much did them in.

At this point, it’s all about getting tournament ABs & innings for the young guys. Three games in Hoover would be huge. So would three in a Regional. Just hope they get the chance.

Saturday night against Florida and Friday night against Alabama were two games that would be nice to have back at this point.

I think this could be correct. The SEC is stronger/deeper than normal…13 wins may be enough.

Yep. Also Friday vs Vandy (second game, Thursday-Saturday series) and the first two games vs Tenn were winnable with better RISP at-bats.
