It was weird how they went halfway with the "choose who we kill" situation. In the book, it made complete sense and made the scene way more sinister. Here, it just seemed liked they put it in just to say they did it. Were they trying to show that Cheese was good at reading people by being able t...
USGA provides guidelines on handicapping
Thanks for that link. That was pretty interesting. I am the one to organize our games on annual golf trips. I am not sure why, but I never thought about looking into percentages. We do a lot of Ryder Cups. I guess we should've been doing 90%...
Does it matter if it's stroke play? If it's match play, then scenario 2 for sure.
Really, it shouldn't matter in match play because it doesn't make any sense to say someone is starting at -5 in match play. The real debate should be whether it makes more sense to 0 out the ...
It's kind of jarring comparing Bryson then to Bryson now. ...
This actually reminds me of something that has always bothered me. Guys have so much extra protection these days, but they don't want to cover the ear that faces away from the pitcher? What about when they are running the bases? Also, it seems every time a player is doing anything above a brisk jog,...
This reminds me of watching random Bachelor episodes with my wife. It seems they have levels of love on the show; starting to fall in love, falling in love, in love, love. We had the the "Framework agreement" last June. Maybe next June the "draft agreement" can turn into an "Agreement to agree"....
This past week was brutally hot and humid in Texas
I'm here. I'm just pointing out the August hits differently. ...
Datagolf rankings have nothing to do with the level of competition, just their performance on the golf course.
That actually is not entirely true.
They are determined by averaging the field-strength adjusted scores of each golfer across professional and amateur tournament...
US between the PGA & US Open and still have to play in August & September.
Well, I will give them this on the schedule. Houston in June is hot but bearable. Houston in August is like Minnesota in winter; just don't go outside....
I don't know why I keep doing it to myself, but every couple of years I get into an ASOIAF kick and take on some of the material. This time I am listening to a podcast called Radio Westeros while I run that has a 10 part series as a primer to TWOW. I am so damn into it. It's incredible how many diff...
Same. Actually a little surprised to see the dislike for them. I love my Sun Mountain and it stands up perfectly fine for the last 10yrs.
I think you misread his post. He was saying he doesn't buy cart bags. ...
After you buy a cart bag you will hate it.
I agree. My dad bought me a cart bag for Christmas of 21. I counted down the days until it was socially acceptable to buy a new one. While I do most of my golf in carts, I also set my bag down places not on a cart quite often. If the groun...
I really like the one where they are messing with Blake Griffin, mostly because of the end. It was just a great way to film and edit to leave an unexpected joke at that end. You don't really care who is driving the RV the entire commercial, then they show it at the end and you realize it's the funni...

If you have time and are so inclined, I recommend watching the Tourist Sauce season in Michigan from No Laying Up. I think it is season 7. They go all over Michigan and have an episode dedicated to Traverse City. It would give you a really good idea of what to expect and where to go....
I got a little worried about no Maui until the end of the trailer. I will be excited for this along with my kids. The first one was one of my favorite Disney movies. The story was good, the visuals were incredible, and the songs were top notch. My only worry is the same worry for all sequels, they l...
Kingwood Island #18. One of the dumbest holes in golf
I just looked it up on the Grint to see what you are talking about. My first thought was, "This only looks like one green fairway, what is he talking about?......Holy shite, that's a green pond." Yeah, that is dumb. Finishing a...
It's about to get quite a bit better. He brought each of them along for a specific purpose. Pretty sure this isn't a spoiler because he's told them he's looking for "the seed" and that's what Ferro keeps pressing him for answers as to what that is. So even they really don't know. Ferro is pre...
