re: ESPN App on iOS

I routinely have issues with the ESPN app on iPhone. It’s just a shitty app. Crashes often, does a poor job of using the “favorite teams” I’ve selected, have to frequently re-sign-in. Overall just extremely disappointing of an app for 2024. ...

Daily Mortgage Advice Question
Posted by CajunDoc on 5/17/24 at 10:18 am
Wife and I are building a home and looking at a new mortgage. We will sell our current home and have a down payment of about 30%. It will be a jumbo loan for new construction. In comparing rates from a few different lenders, looks like the best 30 year fixed is 7% with no points. We compared a few o...

Many a dinners were jiffy and milk growing it.
Still love it to this day, though I have preferred a sweeter cornbread over the traditional savory southern style....

re: Sod and Irrigate new yard?

I unfortunately dont know the details of it yet, we're in the very early planning stages. Know the lot size is .5 acre and its a 4200 Sqft house. I know this doesn't really help at all because there are a million configurations. Will come back when I have more info, thanks everyone....
Sod and Irrigate new yard?
Posted by CajunDoc on 8/31/23 at 7:57 am
Wife and I are building our first home in middle TN. Wondering about sodding and irrigating the backyard. Price the builders quoted us is 5000 for sod and 5000 for irrigation. Seems high. They "seed and straw" backyard otherwise.
What are the boards thoughts on this? How much of a pain would it b...

re: Red Beans Guy.... Hold the Mayo

Me lone criticism is that he doesn’t actually rate or rank the food at all. Sometimes he alludes to it being not the best, but otherwise it’s often difficult to tell if the food is good or not. ...

Seems like just a baw from “the parish” who has been grinding for awhile and is starting to get some local fame. Happy for him, he’s better than 99% of the other social media “personalities.”
Ill support anything/anyone painting Louisiana or one of our traditions in a good light. ...
