Every single ones of those bastards musked me. And when you grab them they freak out and fling it all over. It has a unique almost “sweet” smell - not nearly as bad as water snakes....
What's the reason for all the markings on her hand and arm?
It’s so they can track the progress of the swelling. I heard a venomous bite feels like sticking your hand on a hot bbq grill…I’ll report back when I eventually get tagged. Caught 3 pygmy rattlers Sunday evening at Apal...

The part of the story that I left out was that on the second night that I caught 4, one got away in my wife’s SUV and vanished under the seat - either underneath the carpet or in the floor AC duct. Spent 15 hours out of sight, then it came crawling out while I was driving the next day. Of course, my...

And May is the best time because they a...
how’s their temperament?
They don’t bite, ever. They’re very unique in their behavior. They tuck their head against their body and lash out like striking but don’t open their mouth. They curl up their tail to give you that flash of red, and sometimes flip over to show their belly...
My friend is like this at Chimes every time we go to lunch. We’ll be talking and the waitress comes by and he’s like, “Oh wait, let me look at the menu.” And I’m like,”It’s the same stuff they had the other 50 times we came here.”...
