I think el Paso is super underrated and gets unnecessary hate. It's got gorgeous scenery, theyve pumped millions into infrastructure and downtown revitalization, the people there are super nice, thicc latinas everywhere, and of course the food is amazing.

I never have a bad time when I go and never worry about crime considering you can't go 2 miles without seeing a police car.

Agree.

Best part of the State is the SW part, geographically.

Much more importantly, they have jobs. People move where there are jobs.

Yall keep it down about El Paso. It is horrible. Cartel members everywhere. Stay away.

On a serious note I would prefer to live outside the triangle and I am fine with the rest of Texas being left alone from transplants.

Did you know:
Texas outside the triangle is majority Hispanic and Trump won by 27%! Lol

Bingo! My pawpaw’s advice to me as I was coming out of college was “go where the money takes you”.

In other words, if you need to move for a job, do it. Texas has a lower COL than the west coast obviously and attractive career opportunities for a lot of people.

I live outside Houston bc it’s where my job is and where the medical care i need is.

Most people need jobs. If they’re independently wealthy then they’re still not moving to Odessa.

Texas actually invaded and occupied Shreveport at one time and considering the amount of Cowboys fans I'm pretty sure it's actually already a part of Texas.

A large part of the migration is retirees leaving blue states for lower cost of living & taxes

Most high paying job opportunities tend to be in those 4 cities.
