re: Holman vs UNC

We scored 4 runs today against Wofford’s 3rd starter. I don’t feel super confident lsu will crush LIU’s pitching tomorrow....
re: Need a RB in Dynasty.. Help me with a trade
Posted by DallasTiger45 on 5/30/24 at 11:02 am
How good is your team realistically? I wouldn't do anything drastic for a short term RB fix because it doesn't seem like your team is anything special.
I'd see if Rashee Rice + 2.01 could get you into Trey Benson territory at 1.09 or so....
re: Caleb Williams or Jayden Daniels in superflex dynasty?
Posted by DallasTiger45 on 5/30/24 at 9:29 am
Caleb is probably safer, Daniels has higher upside. I think the two are interchangeable as #1 or #2 dynasty QBs this class.
Caleb has better pass catchers, better OL. Coaching probably a wash - both Waldron and Kliff have had some good offenses at times but I wouldn't say either is an offensive s...
This 49 win argument (nothing against you NDT) is a very very terrible argument.
I don’t really think it is? The team was good, I don’t really see how you can argue that. Record, underlying stats, all point to a good team. We weren’t great. We weren’t average. Just good.
Now g...

re: Another dynasty draft/trade question
Most of the time, the options presented to me are Nix, Penix, Polk, Ray Davis, etc.
I think Polk is pretty undervalued, the Patriots have a stink surrounding their offensive perception but Polk has an incredible opportunity to walk right into #1 or #2 option target share as a top 4...

2.03 AD Mitchell
2.04 Jermaine Burton

Yea. Everyone talks about the midseason trades but the Lively draft pick was incredibly important. He was playing good ball before they traded for Gafford and is starting to work back into form, culminating in an awesome performance last night.
Everyone hates the idea of taking a young center in ...
re: When do we see Hurd, Anderson, Coleman, and Johnson between tomorrow and Tuesday?
Why? They play a game on Tuesday. Or are you trying to tell the fan base to take it one pitch at a time like we affect the game?
No, he’s saying they need to do everything possible to win game 3 vs Ole Miss even if it means throwing Tommy White and Paxton Kling on Tuesday in Hoov...

Think some of y’all are being a little too hard on KAT because Jimmy Butler was a public a-hole while they were teammates a few years ago.
KAT is not the best defender but I don’t think he’s soft. And his spacing would be amazing next to Z....

I mean, I guess. Although things don’t seem amazing internally with the Cavs and we really don’t know how much of that is or isn’t Garland’s fault.

re: Clark: Pels open to BI extension, but not at max
Posted by DallasTiger45 on 5/15/24 at 4:01 pm
Yea I mean not thinking we need a PG Isa weird perspective. The best pg on the pels is a borderline top 10 guy on the team. As stated, the teams hanging around in the playoffs have a PG who can initiate or score. You can't run a novelty offense into the finals. Your B or C player has to be th...

re: Freaking bunt him
Posted by DallasTiger45 on 5/12/24 at 4:27 pm
Playing for 1 run by bunting a guy to 2nd base in the top half of an inning where you’re down 1 is far from standard. You still need a hit to score him. I’d be much more critical of the decision not to bunt if we could have set up man on 3rd with 1 out....

re: First baseman had wrong foot on the bag restricting his ability to stretch for the throw
Posted by DallasTiger45 on 5/11/24 at 7:23 am
Unlike a routine grounder to another infield spot, on that play with a throw coming from behind the runner down the 1st base line, the 1st baseman is supposed to square up to the catcher on either the outside or inside of the bag and give them a target/throwing lane.
Pretty standard stuff. Jones ...
re: So our 6’”4 first baseman
Posted by DallasTiger45 on 5/11/24 at 6:53 am
First baseman is taught to set up on the inside of the bag to give the catcher a lane to throw to
Almost impossible to adjust to a ball thrown on the other side of the bag from that short a distance
Really not a lot Jones can do there on that type of bad throw ...
