Definitely recommend Hapuna beach. If you want to go around the rock that kinda secludes the hotel, you can and hang out there. You can use the hotel pool and bar/restaurant.
Definitely do the green beach. Like said, it’s a little under 3 miles but it’s breathtaking. Can’t believe how green it act...

What great nostalgia this thread has brought. To answer the OP’S question, no the 2000’s wasn’t the best. Have to go late 80’s to mid 90’s.
On another note, there were so many great places to go hang out at back then. I miss the early 90’s Baton Rouge...
