The secret is Tarragon and allowing it to sit a while. At KFC, they always held it for 24 hours, in big buckets in the cooler.
Here is her recipe. I got it during a visit to KFC when I was VP of Quality at Groen.

Best Moon Pie I ever had was thrown to me from a float in an Orange Beach Mardi Gras parade.
Really fresh and tasty, just a little small, like 3 inches across....

We picked up some precooked roasted chicken pieces from Sams refrigerated foods case and microwaved them with broccoli. Pretty good Keto meal.

It had a pretty high alcohol content. Bums used to drink it when they couldn't buy alcohol in Mississippi, where sales of alcohol were not legal until maybe 1966.

Keto without a name. Sliced Zucchini, Diced ham, Mozzarella, Swiss, Monterrey Jack, and Cheddar cheese. Heavily dusted with Everything But Bagel seasoning. coked 350 for an hour. Pretty good.
