We made a pole vault pit with an old mattress and the rest including the pole was bamboo we cut out of the neighbors yard. Bamboo doesn’t have a lot of flex before it snaps. I have a big toe that makes a left turn because of that inability to flex. ...

We had guns in the rear window racks and not a vehicle in the lot was locked. Half had their windows down.
Lot of rebel flags in rear windows too. And hemostats hanging from the rear view mirror.
And every bed was filled with beer cans and Marlboro boxes.
And none of us could math....
