Your driver is where you’d probably get the biggest performance enhancement over the R7
Had a hand-me-down Taylormade R1 driver when I first started playing and, to this day, it still is the hottest/best driver I've ever used. Thing was a tank...
I'll preface this with the fact that I have been extremely fortunate and blessed with the opportunities I've had. I met the President of my current company at a July 4th pool party and he told me to call him the following Monday for an interview. I didn't earn that, I just happened to be in the righ...

re: Lajitas Golf Resort

We played it last October and it was incredible. Don't know that I'd do the 10 hour drive again but definitely will be going back. Course was in phenomenal shape and can play pretty difficult. Hardest part for me was judging wind because the course is sunk into hills/mountains so you don't feel the ...
Brand new TSR3 for $450 is pretty damn tempting NGL.
Sure is -- got fitted and bought the TSR3 for $599 on April 15th. Feels good to be me. Maybe I should send it back for a refund and then buy one to get my $150 back. ...
Just purchase the rights to The Blues
SLC bout to be the music capital of the world with the Jazz and the Blues. Should buy a baseball team and name 'em the Acoustics ...
For the donors, I don't think too many of them are looking at it as an advertisement. They larger the donor, the more access and, ultimately, influence they'll have to the program. People who have the type of money to throw 6 figures and more at HS kids to play for their favorite school aren't neces...
George can get very jittery and nervous where wes seems to have a belief he can hit any shot in any moment.
You're right and it goes to show how mental the game of golf is because there's no reason for George to ever be nervous with how well he strikes the ball. I have little doubt...

Live just southwest of Houston and it's been bad for several weeks. Lady at the Speedy Stop said the distributor is having issues getting the product out to stores. Maybe ole baw didn't grease the right palms of our governmental overlords. I did find the trick though - gotta go to the gas statio...
Or maybe it’s the PGA Tour ban & OWGR decision to force guys to play golf a certain way
Seems pretty childish of LIV to create a startup, herald it as non-conforming and revolutionary... and then blame decades-old precedents and organizations for not conforming or welcoming them, n...
I don't know that I'd advise someone to do it, but I've done it myself. First "real" job was doing inside sales for a medical staffing company in Austin. Absolutely hated everything about it, but was good at it. Won President's Club and they put us in the Ritz-Carlton in the Grand Cayman's for 4 day...

re: Breaking 80

I'm 10.6 and have only broken 80 once so my advice really may not be worth a thing in here. I constantly shoot 84-86, regardless of how well I've been playing. I did drop a smooth 99 this past weekend though, guess it was time for some humble pie and I definitely got served. When I did break 80 ...
Only way to get a good rate right now is manufacturer financing. I got 1.9% for 72 mos. through GM Financial last month. It's specific to certain vehicles but you're not getting a rate near that from a bank or credit union for the foreseeable future. ...
Really not all that different from choosing a leader in any organization in any industry, traits-wise. Someone who understands they're not the smartest person in every room they walk into, surrounds themselves with smart people and allows them the freedom to do their job within the parameters the or...
I have the AMEX Platinum and the Chase Freedom Unlimited. The AMEX doesn't have great cash back (5x points per dollar spent on travel, 1x for everything else) but it has a ridiculous amount of statement credits. $240/year for streaming services, $200 hotel credit, $200 airline credit, $200 Uber cred...
yes, they have not had much issues getting the OK to record Wesley. I dont know if there is a hard cutoff somewhere but you wont find any vids of the top50 or so on a PGA course, even from proam.
I noticed they allowed footage of Wesley swinging too. I'd be kind of interested in ...
I did whenever I first started playing and didn't know yet that it's not a good idea to try to help the ball into the air with your irons/wedges. But also, when I first started playing, I was aiming for the golf course from the tee and I was lucky if I found my ball in the rough. Those shorter s...
We went this for the 1st time and had an amazing time. Didn't get to see all those big names you mentioned but we did see Lucas Glover's hole-in-one on #7. ...

I was on the other side of this scenario about a month ago. Wife wanted a white Yukon like every other suburban white woman in this world and it was really hard to find. Ended up finding one about 3.5 hours away, salesman was actually honest though and told us someone had already put a deposit on it...

re: Thoughts on Rahm's Masters Dinner?

Posted by BenDover on 3/20/24 at 9:41 am
I think I'm not sophisticated enough to appreciate Rahm's selections. I'd be the dude with a menu like below and snobs would hate me - Wedge salad with buttermilk vinaigrette (similar to Perry's) - Bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers stuffed with cream cheese - 10oz Wagyu Ribeye served with grilled ...
