It's too bad we couldn't have got Herb here
I can't imagine something Herb would rather be at less than a phony government celebration of him....
I don’t think asset accumulation is a sound strategy. The Pels collection of picks wasn’t enough to get Fox or Sabonis. Hoping more picks gets you an All Star or better player later is just that, hope, not a plan. There are 3 All Star caliber guards “available” this summer. Maybe none are perfec...
The identity is the same as it has been since Chris Paul left. You have no high level half court creator so you must be good defensively to generate easy offense in transition. In shape Point Zion with shooters changes that a little, someone like Trae would change that even more and maybe even shi...
Solid installment especially if you've read Heir to the Empire and watched Rebels
I haven't read the book, but I strongly recommend watching Rebels as well as the Disney+ playlist they have for Ahsoka Clone Wars episodes. Ahsoka really does seem like a time jumped season 5 of Rebel...
Replacing nance's 20 minutes with Kessler immediately makes you better. But that's a partial solution, we need another 10-15.
The solution at center has always been one of 2 things, a unicorn, or a committee. We aren't getting a unicorn, so we need to cobble together 3 rotation...
He gets info from coaches, but I think it's probably more vibes and reading between the lines than true leaks. Like I doubt Langdon ever told him that he didn't like BI, but I also believe Shamit is probably on solid ground when he says Langdon to Detroit makes BI to Detroit less likely....
Shamit, who has definitely been plugged in in the past, is pretty adamant that the Pelicans wouldn't trade for Trae.
Griff's choices might be more limited than he likes. I have a lot of reservations about Garland besides Klutch, but Klutch rattling the saber in Cleveland makes me ...
Trae/Jose Herb/Dyson/Hawkins Trey/Naji/Ryan Zion/Isaac Claxton/Larry
I think you're being to optimistic with Claxton at $17 million, but I kind of like this roster. You could go all offense Trae/Hawk/Ryan/Zion/Trey or all defense Jose/Herb/Dyson/Isaac/Claxton or anywhere in be...

I think the only people who seem very much against Trae are SFP and Jester. Although those 2 are all you need to create one hell of a melt. ...
How would this solve brain deterioration? Your brain ages as well and putting your head on a younger body doesn’t reverse dementia

A growing body of research suggests a correlation between Alzheimer's disease and an unhealthy gut, and Australian scientists are hoping to tak...
Shamit thinks we have less of a chance of trading BI to Detroit because of the Trajan hire now.
He doesn't have to want BI, he just has to be willing to look like he's interested as a solid to his old team, which does happen. ...
[embed]https://twitter.com/esidery/status/1793776084556677296[/embed] I don't want a trade with Detroit except in certain 3 team trades, but its good that this perception is already out there to help push up BI's price....

re: Langdon to Detroit as POBO

I'm not that worried about this. Bryson Graham was always given co-credit with Langdon for the recent draft success, and unlike the Demps/Monty era, I full expect them to bring in more qualified people to replace those that leave....
Not discussed yet, but I don't really see an angle where Ainge would even want BI
Maybe you get a 3 teamer going with someone like Detroit and send them more picks. But I hate trades like this because you're getting dimes and nickels back for a quarter. And as we can see with th...
I also think a woman in charge probably changes the dynamic with the players in a good way from a compliance standpoint. Especially with all the mama's boys this team has. It was very clear that Zion and Nelson were in a dumb pissing contest that we all lost....
If Amy Atmore wants to pick her staff, let her. This season was very different in a good way, we got: - Actual information and timelines in injury updates - Neither Zion or BI stayed out "extra" when they did get injured - For the biggest injuries Trey was on time and Dyson was back early I be...
This is the kind of BS they pull to gain leverage in negotiations. When is the superdome lease scheduled to be renewed?...
[embed]https://x.com/LinusEkenstam/status/1793260089521967485[/embed] I'm hoping we have better longevity solutions like reverse aging medicines, but if we don't, at least someone is working on Plan B....
It's just a fact that - Teams are making more money than ever, compared to the Shinn era where small market teams aimed for the playoffs rather than contention because and extra million or 2 in revenue could make the difference between profit and loss. You have to go out of your way to lose money...
