But the further and further we get away from WWII, the more I’m convinced we should’ve not taken any side in Europe.
We didn’t have the option of sitting out, buddy. Let’s not do revisionist history here.
Germany declared war on us after we declared war on Japan following the b...
Win Shares, Estimated Wins Added, and Player Efficiency Rating.
Who the frick came up with these stupid metrics? They all sound made up and subjective.
Let me guess, they’re also using the completely subjective “eye test” bullshite?
That term needs to die in a fire and never r...
re: Better Camp Spot…Grand Isle or Mississippi Gulf Coast?
Posted by cbree88 on 6/9/24 at 12:55 pm
Fishing is better in Grand Isle and nearby Lower Lafourche.
However, every single other thing is better about the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and so that is what I would choose. You actually have a wide range of good restaurants, casinos, bars, grocery stores, way more pretty women around, much nicer...
Williams will be the third-down back.
Why would we use Williams as the third down back when we have a bull like Kaleb Jackson?
I think Jackson will alternate occasionally to give him a breather, but not specifically on third downs....
I’m pretty sure his injury permanently put him back.
Yep. This happens to a lot of players.
People always expect the guys to make a full recovery but they often don’t. A lot of them are never the same.
Kayshon Boutte is another example....
Lay off the stat sheet moneyball and use your eyes.
This is always a bad argument. The completely subjective eye test is bullshite and is always trumped by objective evidence and facts.
A better argument would be to suggest that Paul Skenes from last year’s staff was better than...

They just happened to get really hot at the right time in the postseason last year. You can’t count on something magical like that happening every year.
Also, perhaps this year’s group is better overall, but Pa...

It was supposed to be in this thread originally, but I accidentally posted it in the other thread, you genius. I didn’t expect to have to spell that out for you.
Regardless (and ironically), my post is much more...

Glad we’re getting some big uglies on the D-Line finally.
Too bad we couldn’t work a miracle and bring some in for 2024 to save our defense. 2024 seems like it’s going to be such a missed opportunity. We’re going to have a good QB, a group of good TEs, and group of good WRs (Hopefully one or two ...

re: Saints WR Chris Olave looking to make move 'from a good player to an elite player'
Posted by cbree88 on 6/6/24 at 7:15 am
As Bobby Hebert said, Olave needs to focus on gettting more YAC and being stronger while going up in the air to fight for the football against DBs.
Personally, I think he also needs to find the end zone more. 9 TDs in 34 games is not really elite. Maybe if Carr starts playing better it’ll help Ol...
re: Jalen Milroe is gonna wreck shop this season

He’s not that good. He benefited from playing on a roster that was stacked and coached by Nick Saban.
This year won’t be the same for Milroe. This will be the year that the fart starts to stink....
In 2023, Bama was 8-0 and Ole Miss was 6-2, so that for sure doesn’t work.
Once again, if Ole Miss wins Ole Miss advances to Atlanta and Bama goes home because of an identical record and a head-to-head victory for Ole Miss.
Interesting post, but a lot of inaccurate information i...

If Alabama defeats LSU in 2019, both teams finish with one loss and Alabama goes to Atlanta because of their head-to-head win....
