I agree with most of what you are saying, but the boom in construction is also being suppressed by NIMBYism. I get it, I don't want a new subdivision going to around me either, but it's absolutely slowing construction. The US needs more homes badly, but it's allowing NIMBYism to slow down growth...

I really hope we move him to be a true safety... Not that our corners are studs, but I don't think there is much of a drop off at all at corner from Sage to Toviano, Alexander, and presumably JK Johnson. Feels like there are a shite ton of Bama and Ole Miss fans in New Orleans. But I agree that's more in the city than the metro area. Jefferson Parish is definitely more LSU. South Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Ascension Parish is like 95% LSU, 1% Auburn, 1% Ole Miss, 1% State, 1% Bama, 1% other......
