There's a lot more to calculating one's budget for a car than simply household income.
That’s the only thing he mentioned. So it’s relevant, I assumed. Of course he might have a paid-off house, three million in a nest egg, and managing a multimillion dollar portfolio of rental prop...
I am 6' and probably weighed 210 lbs when I graduated high school. Weighed in this morning at 153 lbs. At my heaviest, I was about 225 lbs and sick of myself in college. I fixed it by starting triathlon then bike racing. I got down to around 160 lbs and trained so much that I could out train...
These posts just show the extremes of the MTB. Most people have no interest in driving a 20 year old vehicle. Safety standards and basic vehicle amenities have made leaps during that time period. Good for you for being proud of your paid off, old vehicles but shaming someone for buying a new ...
Combined income around $160000. What would you guys do in our situation?
Not buy a $50,000 vehicle. That’s not a good option. Find something way, way, way cheaper. Really consider what you ‘need.’ My wife and I have three kids as well and own a 9 year old 4Runner and a 21...

I’ve read that Sherwin Williams Loxon XP is a good option. No need for priming with this product. Or Loxon Concrete & Masonry Primer/Sealer with a top coat. I’ve recently painted a brick wall with Loxon primer and top coated with Sherwin Williams Duration. Probably should have just used the ...

re: $17.59 for a Caniac

All the more reason to stop eating that nasty shite. I just looked it up to see, and menu price is $15.99 for a caniac, which apparently is 1740 - 2000 calories. That’s more calories than you need in an entire day. ...

I was on the phone with my wife while she was driving on I-10E in Baton Rouge approaching the Bluebonnet exit yesterday. A fender bender had apparently just occurred and the two cars involved were along the right shoulder. One car looks like it’s attempting to drive off. Other driver whips out his p...
I just looked at the hose prices. Yea. I’m not sure I’m willing to spring for the hoses. The reels, I can deal with. But god damn. A rubber hose should last me a long damn time. Their hoses look like they’d piss me off. ...
I want to get at least one hose reel to mount to my house. Eley seems to be the most recommended based on searches. Are there other hose reels to consider? What about hoses or nozzles? Any recommendations there?...

I am deeply indebted to my parents. They worked their asses off for me to be able to be successful. I lost my dad three and a half years ago - he was only 62. Sucks that I didn’t get a chance to repay him in some way for the life he set me up for. Now I just want to do the same for my kids and s...
