We play ball in BR for supers! No way Arizona advances with that region. Tough draw in Omaha with Tenn and Arky on our side....
Pitcher doesn’t step off rubber; thus, it is a pitch. Batter should not step out of box & batter should protect his runner coming home. ...
Players are coached: if pitcher doesn’t step off rubber, stay in and swing. Keep that catcher back… if two strikes players are taught to hit the catcher. Not a dumb question at all....
In last week, I have seen two steals of home. In each case, the batter didn’t protect the runner. A simple swing keeps the catcher back and/or hits the catcher resulting in a free base (runner goes back to third). ...
Anyone know if he did? He sure got to third quick. I believe USCe did appeal to second; however, umpire said safe. Anyone in stands to confirm? If Brown did leave early, game would have ended with Kling’s run not counting… that would have been a killer way to loose....

RPI would have to be around 16 if we win out and the hottest team in the country… would have 12k in the stands vs 5k. Obviously remaining pitchers would need to get on a role…...
I agree it shouldn’t be done if runners are on base. My son is a catcher here in Texas for his high school and travel team. For him it achieves three things: gets target lower in zone, gives the umpire a bigger window and gives the catcher a rest. Have to realize the catchers will catch...
