re: Alabama AD: Cutting Sports Might Be Only Way to Pay Athletes
Posted by TigerHornII on 5/30/24 at 3:29 pm
They will do the cuts the same way that Alabama High Schools complied with Title IX when it was introduced - by cutting more men's teams that women's teams. My former HS axed wrestling, track, tennis and golf for the boys, while adding no girls teams IIRC....
This is what I believe. Their world was completely demolished in a singular moment. I’ve only been a parent for less than 3 years, so new emotions occur to me whenever I discuss topics like this. The idea of losing a kid to anything at all, shooting aside, is an unacceptable idea. I have no i...

I’m legit asking
In a lot of cases, yes, we sent them old stuff. The Hawk missile system, older export M1's with a few upgrades, etc, along with some newer or 1 generation old stuff...

China’s aggressive expansion of its high-speed rail network is facing scrutiny as an increasing number of stations remain unused, leading to significant financial strain. A recent report from the China Business Journal highlights that at least 26 high-speed rail stations across the co...

Now do a ranking by per capita GDP, the real measure of a country's wealth.
The US comes in at 8th, the only large, diversified economy in the top 30 (others are small rich countries like Switzerland, UAE, Singapore, Luxembourg, etc. )
China checks in at #72, just behind such wonderful places...
I agree. If you are OK with living in Texas all your life then UT masters as good as it gets.
The same is probably true for every other state though, and their respective state university.
Very uninformed take. Texas has a national and international reputation far beyond any other...

Diddy Bowden wanted out of the game and said so publicly after AU fired his incompetent son. When AU obliged a month or two later, it was suddenly "Ohhhh nooeees". So your entire premise is hot garbage, much like Ole Missy's hopes of ever winning anything meaningful in football. ...

If you have anything very physical that you want to do, get in shape and do it now. Hiking Yellowstone, rebuilding an old car, etc. Or for that matter, starting a business or joining a startup company. All that gets much harder after 60. ...

Well, it can be complicated. I'm going to give you some gross oversimplifications:
First off, Techron is the real deal, and I have seen the test articles and raw data on it at an independent lab. It actually does something useful. Chevron is not the only brand that has it, but you can also catch...
