re: DKs has LSU at 3rd best odds

Posted by LSBoosie on 5/28/24 at 9:30 pm
Preseason LSU had the best odds, in the middle of the season LSU had bad odds, now they are back up to 3rd. Point is that none of those mean anything, especially in a sport like college baseball...
NIL offers from those other schools weren’t what he expected I bet
You think he didn't talk numbers with any other schools until after he decommitted?...
You throw your best guy first regardless imo. Never want to risk going to the losers bracket
You know that losing game 2 puts you in the losers bracket too right?...

It looks like a lot of those numbers are pretty comparable. Breaking news: the #4 national seed is pretty good. If you are trying to convince yourself that they aren’t, I don’t know what to tell you....
So the comment about team getting hot wasn’t about LSU?
I’m asking you where you saw this. I would like to hear exactly what he said instead of your nonsensical rambling in the OP....

I’m still waiting for someone to link what he actually said. In the 5 minute press conference I watched he didn’t throw shade at LSU at all...
And the point you were making only took half of the equation into account. We faced better offenses this week and OUR pitching easily held their own.
100% agree. But our pitching hasn’t been as much of a problem this year as people make it out to be. Consistently scoring runs has bee...
We beat the top 2 offensive teams in the SEC in the first two games. They scored 1 run between the two of them
That’s great but also has almost nothing to do with the point that I was making....
Now if you are just talking about pitching that we faced, maybe.
I mean yeah, that’s exactly what I’m talking about....
They aren't "definitely" better than Georgia, Kentucky, SC x 2, Tennessee.
It’s not that they are definitely better than those teams. It’s that we will likely be facing their ace and best bullpen arms in what is as close to a “must win” as you can get. That’s completely different th...
North Carolina isn't any tougher than what we just faced in the SEC tourney
I hate to break it to you but it definitely is. Not that we can’t win, but it’s definitely tougher than what we played in the SEC tournament....

I have no idea how much influence coaches/schools may or may not have on the committee and I’m not going to pretend to know. I do know that the son of the NCAA selection committee chair is employed by LSU baseball though....
So surely you know that those buyouts are paid by donors and TAF right? You can literally go year by year and see the fluctuations in TAF donations to the athletic department. The point is that the athletic department doesn’t turn some huge profit any year, whether we are paying buyouts or not. A...
They lost money because of all the buyouts that they are paying…
What all buyouts are they still paying? I don't think you know a ton about how athletic departments are run....
That was definitely a misplay, even though I think it was probably one of those that’s really hard to read off the bat. Besides that, I think he played really good defense the rest of the week unless I’m missing something....

Probably a little bit of that and he thinks those teams are weaker than the SEC or ACC teams. I don’t blame him, I’m just saying that because usually LSU fans are too happy whenever the NCAA sends us out west....
