We lucked up this time. Here on the banks of the TN river on Wheeler Lake the max wind we had was 25 mph, and .34” rain. The storms were going north and south of us. No limbs to pick up. Looks like Mt Brook had trees down and lady was killed when tree fell on her apartment. West Blocton, Shelby co, ...

On TWC we have gone from a TORCON 3 to a 5 here in north AL. I think we’re all pretty weary of all this violent weather.
We have had two tornadoes in our neighborhood in the last 9 months ( EF0 and EF3)…. both traveling from southwest to northeast on the TN river towards us to do it’s damage. L...

I had an appliance repair guy here the other day to work on our microwave. I asked him which brand appliance was best these days. He said none of them. They’re all crap. With new appliances you can expect to get about 5 years out of them. ...
