Burger from prohibition kitchen. Cheesecake from bar harbor Cheesecake Factory. Several boat tours. Your kiddo would prob enjoy a pirate ship boat tour. They have some cool ghost walk tours but maybe a little too spooky for the little one. Lots of kids in my tour group though.

Just park at the giant parking garage at the visitor center and walk. Don’t even bother trying to park on the street.

Incredibly overrated to me.

I believe you mean Company, not factory.

Anyway

Go see the fort for sure. Walking tour. The church is pretty.

Correct. My mistake… Strong disagree on prohibition kitchen. I thought the food and atmosphere was fantastic. It’s been three years and I still think about that damn burger from time to time and those poutine fries with pork debris. Lawd.

I thought it was not good at all. My wife and I walked in and kinda immediately knew it wasn’t for us, that it was clearly a bit of a tourist trap designed to look like it wasn’t.

It was

Burger was bad. Dry as hell and boring.

To each his own.

Go take the boat over to Fort Matanzas.
Fort in town is great. Castillo San Marcos
The beaches North and South of town are fairly different and interesting.
The Ximinez Fatio House
National Cemetery in the same area downtown.
Oldest Schoolhouse
St George St has a few interesting things but is fairly touristy. Worth a walk down a couple of times.
Protestant Cemetery and the City Gates are at the end of St. George st.
The Lighthouse is fun and there is a nice new museum complex on site.
The Colombia Restaurant.

One of our favorite things we did in St Aug was chartering a small, fast catamaran for just our family. The larger boats looked miserable with their 25+ passengers.

Prohibition kitchen is solid. But for dinner I would highly recommend Caps on the Water. We really enjoyed dinner there. Do a trolley ride one day and see the tourist stops. Cool little town but 2-3 days is about all you need.

Used to go there when I was a kid and get fried gator tail. I thought it was the coolest thing. Probably haven't been in 25 years.

The food was solid but the setting is what sold it. The outside deck area is really cool.
