Question specific for Breckenridge regarding local travel

Going with a couple other families. 10 total. Initially I thought we’d do the epic shuttle service which I’ve done in the past and was great. However the cabin we’re looking at renting is too long of a walk to the nearest bus stop. So we’ll need a car. Our options are still do the shuttle from DIA and rent something thru Turo in town or just rent 2 cars for the week. Which isn’t ideal because it’s much more expensive and that would be two people having to drive who wouldn’t be comfortable doing so. What are y’all’s thoughts?

If there's Turo availability in Breck on your dates and the overall economics of shuttle/Turo combo are better than renting 2 vehicles at DIA, this is your answer.
It won't solve your problem of 2 people still having to drive rental cars during your trip though. That's a different issue.

Well the inner-town driving isn’t an issue as it’s only a mile or 2. It’s the I-70 drive that none of us will be comfortable with.

Can you cancel the accommodations and find something closer to a bus stop?
I'm with you on two things for Breck...not wanting a car and not wanting to drive to or from so having something on or near a bus stop (or lift) is pretty much a requirement for me.

I haven’t booked it yet, just found an amazing place for a ridiculous deal. But, won’t be worth it if travel is a PITA. I’m still looking but thought I’d get input on this. I also want to take at least a day and ride Vail. So may just need to bite the bullet and rent a car.
ETA: the more I think about it the more I think we’ll just need to stay near a bus stop. It’s not just us getting to and from the lifts or the no skiers going into town, but I’m sure we’ll all want to go to dinner at least one night together.

100% agree. Grocery runs, dinner, shopping, one person wants to start late or end early, etc.
