It's got mixed reviews, but I personally enjoyed Golden Steer last time I went. Me and my friend got to sit in the same booth that Sammy Davis Jr. and his crew used to sit in, which I thought was pretty cool. I'd highly recommend getting a reservation by way of e-mailing the restaurant as opposed to using Open Table on the website.

Another good one was STK inside of the Cosmo. Only complaint was the music was a little loud making it hard to have a conversation but other than that, the food and service were outstanding.

Another poster recommended Andiamo's inside of the D, that's a solid choice as well.

That sounds like a deal in LV. I didn’t know there was such a thing in LV as half price steaks.

Herbs and Rye is fabulous. There are requirements in that you have to go early for happy hour or late, but their website says the times. Make a reservation. Their drinks are great as well. It's not that far away from the Strip.

I was in Vegas last October, and that hotel was all the cab drivers were talking about. It looked massive. Come back and let us know how it is.

Ate at Komodo at Fontainebleau over new year's. Food and ambience were great.

just booked a 5:00 reservation for next month based on this. If I can get good drinks and half price steak, then this would be a nice start to an evening in Vegas

Just heading back after 5 days at Fountainebleau and here’s my report.

Overall the resort is upscale and you definitely feel it when you walk in. Of course it’s new but the people were a step above. Didn’t see any trashy people.

Pool, workout room and LIV were very nice.

Casino floor was top notch but not very crowded.

Sports book small but nice

The Theater is super nice. 3 decks and seats 5k so try to see a show there if you can.

You have to go see Papi Steak even for just a drink. Best people watching I’ve had in a long time. It’s the Hollywood trendy place to be and was the wildest arse place I’ve seen. DJ with loud music in the middle of a very high end steakhouse. Everyone’s hot in there. Google their $1000 steak and the craziness that goes on. Their private rooms start at 7k, lol.

Komodo was amazing. Some of the best sushi I’ve had

One thing to note is it’s the best collection of a hot staff I’ve ever seen. 80% females and nothing below a 8.
Pool staff is another level. They are definitely going for a target market.

Work paid but idk if I’d stay there for pleasure because it’s so damn expensive it’s further north and away from everything. It’s definitely worth a visit and walk through.

Definitely not high end but I really like Peppermill on the upper end of the Strip. Very Vegas-tourist-tacky but that’s some of the appeal, plus it has a wide variety of good food pretty cheap. The lounge with the fire pit is fun to have an umbrella drink and listen to 70s music.

Lot of great places.
If I’m going back for 3 day weekend soon…

I’m probably going:

Prime at Bellagio
Din Tai Fung at Aria
Golden Steer (or other)

Just got back from a trip out there and we had a really good dinner at the Foundation Room. It’s on the top of Mandalay Bay and had a great view of the strip. You’ll definitely need a reservation, but I had a great dinner there

Ate there last December. It was disgusting. The “free” wine was not much better than cough syrup.

Would rather Olive Garden.

I wasn't a ramen guy at all but Rakkan Ramen defiantly changed my mind. The quartz plate was off the charts. Give it a try.
