We is got back last week. 10 days total. We did Venice, Cinque Terre, and Florence.
If I were to go back I would skip Venice.
From Florence you can make day trips to Siena, Tuscany, Pisa, Bologna, etc

It’s been years, but we went on a package trip that started in Rome. Train to Florence. Train to Venice. Train to Milan and flew back from there. Enjoyed every stop.
