All this bill is doing is killing businesses that already have products on shelves in various grocery stores across the state.

No.

Conservatives are all about small government and freedom.

MAGA is not conservative and does not follow any such principles. Some agendas will dovetail with ones that a conservative will hold, but that's purely coincidental and could change at any time.

Conservatism is pretty much dead. MAGA is not conservative and neither are most non-MAGA Republicans.

And it should come as no surprise, really. People in the mid-1770s (who were actual conservatives) conceptualizing our system could not possibly have imagined the size of government in 2024 America.

Anyone who thinks our gargantuan system can be overcome with as much inertia as it has behind it, I have a bridge I'd like to sell you.

Government serves government interests. They've decided that it would be better for the government to suppress the product named in the bill, so they will.

Go to a country club and see how many of the most successful people on the planet smoke pot or eat gummies.

As previously stated, you want big government with high regulations or not?!?

Same thing as selling 3D printed meat. Some people want it banned. If I want to print meat and sell it, who am I hurting?!?!? Nobody wants that shat and I’ll go broke, but why tell me no? Just make me label it.

Conservatives do not want government to "fix problems." They want government to ensure freedom and for individuals to fix their own problems.

Reagan famously said, "The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: I'm from the Government, and I'm here to help."

Not picking on you, but this is how far away from actual conservatism we've drifted.

Yep. Jeff Landry and his crew worried about all these horseshite, social conservative issues, like the Lady Tigers being on the court for the anthem, or banning this evil hemp so we can protect our children while calling this the THC is not King Bill, which is basically saying we’re protecting the alcohol lobbyists lol. Can’t forget the bill that was pushed and just recently pulled, because of all the backlash they got, trying to hide state government information from the public.

We have a real winner here guys! This state will finally change for the better under Landry’s rule right?

Louisiana can't get rid of inspection stickers because they don't want to lose the $10 per car per year ($20 in some parishes) of revenue, but then turns around and bans a product that is subject to sales tax and not causing harm. How about add a cigarette style stamp to it, charge 50 cents per stamp and do away with inspection stickers?

If you are addicted to weed like a fricking teenager then find yourself a hookup or drive your lazy arse to the next state over and stock up.

Spending money on gas station fake weed novelty items is as trashy as smoking Newports, buying lottery tickets, being fat, and chopping your sons cock off.

As far as the cbd gummies and shite like it. Put an age limit like everything else and fine people for selling to underage like you do with everything else. All that stuff is bunk anyway and is sold because marijuana is illegal federally still and hemp is not.

I was going to a meeting for work at like 830am on a random tuesday and the HVAC truck in front of me lit up a joint.

Then I went to the park for my kids game and some chick was standing outside her nissan smoking a joint and also had a cigar lit like it would cover up the smell.

Best thing for the pot smokers is to develop something that doesnt smell like shite. Then most wouldnt care.

One of the lasts straws for me was pulling up to a $350 per night hotel with my family and some hoodrat was standing in front of the no smoking sign at the front entrance blazing a joint.

the ledge also passed a bill to take away the growing from LSU and Southern and put in the hands of the 2 private growers in this state. one is owned by Lane Grisgby and the other by Bollinger , 2 of the richest men in this state. what Landry and his cronies did was cripple a 40 million dollar industry to protect the biggest GOP donors in this state. That's the real story
