And as soon as one of our delicate citizens can't get a student loan for 'studies' they will cry racism! Because the lenders are doing their job.

Meanwhile a medical doctor that is expected to make 200-500K a year can get a million dollars in loans.
No guarantees, here, either. Some doctors are family practitioners scrapping to earn a living, while some become highly skilled and sought after surgeries, while others become proctologists and make pretty good back.

Also, who's to say Dems won't succeed in socialized medicine and where all doctors get paid what they are allowed by the state?

When I graduated in 1989 I had a modest loan balance to payoff when compared to the loan debt many youngsters are dealing with today. I got married 8 months later and a year after that we bought a house for $70k at 9% interest and PMI to boot. After buying our home we had $700 in a checking account and not much more in a savings account.....shite was tight.

We were newly married, I was starting a new career and we had a household income under $50k in 1990 but we decided we would payoff my student loans first in lieu of eating out, vacations, and new automobiles. We did that for 7 years and paid off my student loans early.....long before Dave Ramsey was ever a thing.

I think the problem is the education system has become as bloated as government, and exists to make people rich.

Each school within a university has like 10 deans of something, all making like 400k. It’s ridiculous.
