In my view on Trump end he knows it’s unlikely Biden will agree to a fair debate. If Trump takes it out of MSM or moves closer to the election Biden will find a way out and the media will blame Trump.
He’s over confident Biden is senile and won’t be able to last. (In my opinion he is but the White House has perfected his medical cocktail and can keep him lucid for 20 min bouts)
Biden team is worried he will crash and burn and want this well before the election so if he comes off as senile and confused people will forget by November. He was also hoping Trump stuck with refusing the venue and host. However Biden knows he will have a friendly host and no crowd to charm which Trump is great at it will make it easier for him as he stays calm and smile and laugh out difficult questions or his failures and let Trump come off as a mad man who has a lot of anger towards a man trying to imprison him.

Judge Engoron: In order to move this case along, we will have 2 night sessions.. June 27th and September 10th. And to ensure that Donald Trump shows up, he will be placed in custody from June 1st until September 30th. I realize that this may interfere with his campaign schedule, and frankly, I am simply unconcerned with that. He WILL be in court. That is all.

Or they can debate because they owe it to the American people as they’re running for president and asking for their vote.

Two outcomes
1) Trump makes Biden look like an incompetent asshat and the DNC uses this as a signal that they need to cheat more than they originally planned..
2) Trump makes Biden look like an incompetent asshat and the DNC uses this as an opportunity to replace Biden with a different candidate.
Either way, Biden will look like an incompetent asshat. For once, America wins with Biden in office.

Early voting is probably part of the problem. But I don't see any appreciable advantage for either side. We've become addicted to the horse race and we NEED to be entertained.

People that pay attention know that Joe is a liar and always has been a liar. Trump needs to slap those not or refusing to pay attention with undeniable facts. A group of prepared videos ready to be put together to refute the lies Biden uses in the debate.
I had to leave Afghanistan the way I did because of Trump. Video showing the truth of the plans for a phased organized withdrawal after the Taliban met proscribed actions. Fly good weapons to an ally or blow them up if too expensive to move. Don’t let Mr I’m going to take your guns bequeath them to the Taliban.
I came in with 9% inflation. Plenty of video proof. You can add videos of Larry Summers and others talking about that Biden’s spending will cause inflation and others Dims admitting that the inflation reduction act had nothing to do with reducing inflation.
You could add a gag reel at the end with some of Biden’s whoppers. Graduated top of my class. All state football. Islanders ate my uncle.

No. You want to be entertained. Politics has become entertainment. My prediction is that nothing new will be learned and we won't be any more informed. The only thought here could be that Biden does so badly that the Democrat Convention is actually interesting if the Democrat powers that be get nervous. But I don't really see it.
