So White moved to SG?

Is there a law that would have prevented him from moving? I suspect if you get appointed to that position, you move. If you dont, you stay home

Landry is getting a second term also. The state GOP will not run anyone against him we all know this state is not electing a Dem anytime soon to be gov. So far he has killed vapes ( 15million a month in tax rev a mont) and now they are killing the hemp industry with over 40 million in sales a year to prop up the 2 biggest GOP donors in this state who just happen to own the largest medical marijuana companies in the state.

This state politics have been hot garbage in the 25yrs I have lived here but the voters just keep electing them when all the warning signs are out there.

whats more important than voting? That's how we try and get change as common folk. We vote.

I didn’t say voting isn’t important lol. I said fixing the voters roll or whatever is not anywhere close to an important and serious issue that we face as a state. Are there serious concerns about elections in Louisiana or something? Large cases of voter fraud happening in Louisiana?

And btw, how has voting for the politicians we have in Louisiana done anything to create positive change?

What a commentary on how terrible most of our Governors have been since I have been alive. EWE, JBE, Blanco, Jindal all being just terrible for the state.

Jindal was great until he thought he had a shot at becoming president.

I would be surprised if the transition committee didn’t share their ideas with Landry as to who he should nominate. And then why would they recommend a non resident?

LINK / Read this. A short paragraph…the short is…. Clerks of court send jury summons. When they get undelivered mail, they are suppose to send to Registrars of voters to canvass (to get illegitimate registrations off the rolls). Guess how many COC and ROV are doing this? NONE…we don’t need new laws to clean voter roles. We need bureaucrats to enact the existing laws.Bodi was lied to about a new BS bill to clean rolls and that it was funded…..

Is this really an issue in Louisiana? Last I checked, Louisiana actually has some of the most trustworthy elections of all the states in the Union.

Uh, yeah. It’s a big issue actually, esp in Orleans, EBR, and Caddo. Guess you didn’t really “check” that closely.

The lawsuit, filed in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleges that longtime registrar of voters Sandra Wilson has overseen a “chaotic” list of active voters that’s been artificially inflated by nearly 33,000 names, including 21,000 people who have moved out of the state, 9,000 people who have moved out of the parish and 500 people who have died.

I’d say 33,000 ineligible voters being on the voting rolls is a pretty big deal. We have no clue about the other 63 parishes, either.

The dems want stale and outdated voting rolls. We all know why they want it too.

Get your head out of the sand.

You ain’t lying. We all know Dems and Republicans are the same in this state, so I’m sure a lot of our politicians are doing shady things.

To lose a majority of their elections? This state is majority conservative and the Dems are doing a bad job in this state at swinging elections in their favor.

Says the one who will continuously fall for BS social conservative issues, and get sucked into voting in the same retards that have plagued this state for decades now.
