Look! There’s a year long wait!

Years long waitlist. The waitlist isn’t even open in Louisiana right now. It’s impossible to be added to it regardless of how many kids you have.

You don’t even know what you’re complaining about.

Again.

Which person is going to get the housing voucher?

A single adult with no kids?

A single mother with 3 kids?

It’s okay to answer honestly.

Of course I do. When you incentivize bad decision making, people will do more of that bad decision making.

It’s literally intro to psychology level shite, cubbies.

It’s called operant conditioning. Maybe read up on it some time.

We need twice as many beds. People who commit heinous acts like that shooting in Kenner almost always have a prodigious history of violence an
most murders are never prosecuted.

Most people in prison are in for drug charges.

Yeah, because rehabilitation works so well.

Why must you lie?

It goes to the single mother of 3 kids.

Common sense? Eyes? Logic?

Aid is prioritized to single mothers with children first.

Always has been. Always will be. It’s why SINGLE MOTHERS have BY FAR the most welfare programs available to them.

BECAUSE.

WE.

INCENTIVIZE.

SINGLE.

MOTHERHOOD.

YOU.

frickING.

You believe that. The drug charges are secondary to other violent charges. So Armed Robbery and possession of ______ for example.
Or, there is a plea deal reached where the defendant will plead guilty to the lesser charge while the other charges are dropped. Then there are thousands who reached a deal for violent charges that get "time served" and violate probation repeatedly including popping positive for drugs who get their probation revoked.

Now I'm certain you'll cite some hack advocacy group that puts out bs information.

I usually see felon in possession of a firearm along with possession or possession with intent charges but I only see charges of people who are able to recidivate, not people with life sentences.

I haven’t seen much that tracks the convictions of people incarcerated, in terms of property vs violent vs drug crimes.

I come across people with histories at various prisons and jails across LA and almost none have simple drug charges. Those folks go through drug court and diversion programs.
