It’s $2k. Buy it and see what you got. Might be worth it.

For 2k it's worth it IMO. Just be aware that the 2000 year models have a well known issue with more transmission failures as compared to the other year models.
I have right at half a million miles between my two 100's combined. I've had no coil failures and haven't changed any doing preventative maintenance either.
As poster burgeman described his problem earlier in this thread, inspect the heater hoses and tees for signs of pink crust (leaking/seepage) and plastic tees browning and becoming brittle. They usually seem to fail at the worst possible time.

At 2k, I’m sure I could get my money out of it if I decided not to fool with it. On the other hand, I could blink and have 10 grand in it. I’m sure it’ll end up at my house.

Pulled the trigger on it at $1,500. Will see what I’ve got on my hands when I have time to dive into it.

Picked her up and trailered her home today. Pulled the battery out of my CJ7, put it in the cruiser, poured a bottle of HEET in the gas tank (1/2 full), turned the key…… and she fired right up! All of the windows worked (with the exception of the sunroof), air blows cold, heat blows hot. Drove her a few miles up the road and back. Aside from the dead battery and rough dash/front seats my only known issues are a power steering fluid leak and the latch on the rear driver-side door doesn’t work. I’ll dig into it sooner or later, but for $1,500, I’m satisfied.

Nice. A google search of any issue + 100 series + ih8mud.com will yield tons of threads.
Try searching their 100 series forum FAQ first and you'll likely find what you need.

Badass. Great camp truck for sure

Heck. I'd be satisfied for quadruple that. A running LC with less than 300k miles seems to go for at least $8-9k around here no matter the condition.

Driving her around today reminded me of this thread. Including new tires I’ve got about $3,300 in it.

I’ll give you $3500 for it.
