Scoot has been around since I was a kid. And he’s been fricking AWFUL the entire time.

100% what you wrote..He thinks he is fair and unbiased and that is a total joke. He and his board guy are disgustingly liberal. They ain't foolin nobody but themselves. Terrible talk show host..terrible.

If anyone ever wants to torture me to the breaking point, tie me up and make me listen to Scoot, Condon, and Karre for 24 hours a day. I will give in and tell you or do whatever you ask before day three.

he’s an extremely liberal fruitcake. Extremely unlikeable.

Trump broke him, simple as that. Before Trump he wasn’t that bad, now it’s downright unlistenable. Spud was doing just fine on WWL radio but they canned him to bring in Angelia Hill who was even worse than Scoot. I rarely agree with Scoot anymore but at least he has an opinion, Angelia tried to turn that time slot into a version of the Oprah show and that’s how Scoot weaseled his way back into the afternoon time slot.

Tommy Tucker might be the dumbest person on WWL and that is a high bar
Sorry, I can handle Scoot, but Tommy Tucker is just terrible and ingratiating. And, Scoot is not gay-he has a son. He takes both liberal and conservative positions and has much more depth to him than Tommy.

I don’t care which positions he claims to take, he’s a complete dumbass and impossible to listen to.

I listened to Scoot in the mid 70s on WRNO. He was the cool dope smoking Johnny Rotten of New Orleans Great sense of humor. An East Jeff graduate. Now he still retains his quick humor and has some conservative views but he loses me with his constant “radical right wing” talk. It’s constant and dishonest. He labels people with diff views tan him. His sidekick Ian is just an out of town soft pudding wimp lefty feminist cosmo idiot

Wow! That commercial is GAYER THAN SCOOT!

It could be that he is just terrible you douche.

He is that bad now compared to what he once was, but like someone already mentioned in this thread, he definitely has a audience. If not, he wouldn’t be on the air. WWL radio is broadcast all over the gulf south so I think it’s a mixture of people that enjoy it, people that listen just to have something to be pissed off at, and people that tune in for background noise.

In the 80’s he married a girl I knew, she was probably 16 years younger, lasted about 6-8 months. Used to ride around in the B Buggy (B97 Volkswagen beetle). looking for parties uptown so he could hit on high school girls.
He was a tool then and a bigger tool now.

He is a few years older than I am. He was new on radio when I was in high school. He was funny back then. He was like the precursor to people like Howard Stern except in those days you couldn’t be vulgar on the radio. They had to insinuate things. We high school students used to think stuff was hilarious.
