These national news outlets are not basing their reporting on their own efforts, they are mining the local news stories for their articles. Direct most of your anger at the completely corrupt and complicit local media (WAFB, WBRZ, WVLA, The Advocate). They have consistently towed the line for those against St. George.

Growing up is realizing that you can't trust any large news media anymore. They're out to spin a story and get viewers. Salacious and scandal sells.
Then you start to think back to all the historical news stories that were reported over the years and wonder how much of it was factual.

My home will be in St George. Based on the trick or treaters we see every year there's not many rich white people in the area.

these media hit pieces are what happens when there is money and a well-funded and connected agenda in place. they have exhausted their legal means, their political means, their influence, their corporate and criminal power. they've dragged these people through hell, delayed and stalled, blocked and demonized the wishes of the people both white and black.

About half of the people inside of St. George voted against it. They had to gerrymander the map to get enough votes and even then it barely passed.

They had a segment about it on News Nation last night. But they were painting it in a positive light and the guy from St George said other communities around the country have contacted him to find out how to do it themselves.
