BOOM.

The black v white situation can’t be fixed for the most part. Scott Adams did a thing about it on his podcast. You can’t just shame an entire race of people and expect them to put up with it forever. Especially when they’re what… 83% of tax payers?

I expect more of this to happen to be honest. Scott Adams nailed it. There was a poll that said 47% of black people said it wasn’t OK to be white or that they’re unsure about it. So he called them a hate group and said “just get the frick away from black people.”

I would 100% support the 35406 part of Tuscaloosa becoming its own city. That area is north of the river (between the Black Warrior and Northport).

Includes all the land around Lake Tuscaloosa. I would even be willing to join Northport if we could get rid of all the didndonuffins in Tuscaloosa.

Talk to ANYONE who has tried to recruit out of state employees with families to Baton Rouge. It's not that easy when you have to acknowledge they either have to live outside of the parish or send their kids to private schools.

This is very much a real issue that I’ve seen firsthand. I’ve seen people turn down significant promotions that would have required a move to BR, because the COL here is actually much higher than it looks on paper when you realize the public schools are shite.

Contractors in my office tell anyone moving here with a family to either prep for private school or to buy in Zachary, Central, Ascension, Livingston, etc.

The ones from around here originally know this and are willing to put up with it because of proximity to family.

Ones not from around here tend not to stay if they have kids or expect to have kids.

I guess if that's what you want to hear. The point I was trying to make earlier before you told me to frick off is there's always a solution. I like many others are tired of being told we are the bad mean racciss people because we want better for our families. When we complained about the school systems We were told build your own city or move. So yeah if you don't like the new city then move. That was the argument before.

Seems fair if you want to keep same services and so on.

I don't protest things often, but this would certainly galvanize a generous portion of the StG elite.

Dudes who date chicks 3 decades younger than they are are better served downtown in some of the bars he ran into the ground.

The way public schools are headed? Yes. They are more concerned with gender affirmation and other social issues vs academics. Unfortunately. I remember when public schools were good.

Personal issues of Delgado aside, he also went out of his way to frick with St George the first time around IIRC.

Not every candidate will be perfect but Delgado has enough warts that I don’t see it going over well.

This is all theatre, NAACP has always wanted to separate BR from the parish. They have even been outspoken against the parish wide government.

I've been following this story - It's similar to how Buckhead in Atlanta wanted to breakoff from Atlanta. It had absolutely nothing to do with race but it had everything to do with the fact that the Blacks were the ones who were causing issues for the residents of Buckhead.
