I got Taco Bell for me and my daughter the other day and was shocked at the price. She got a chicken quesadilla meal. I got a 5 layer burrito (no meal) and we got 2 orders of chips and cheese - $22.

Hell, I'd have gone to a better place had I known it was going to be that much.

that's why we stopped going out to fastfood, especially taco bell.

I get a nacho's bell grande meal with an extra crunchy taco and the wife gets a chicken quesadilla meal and it's $30.00

So now we go out to Mexican restaurants and for steak/chicken nachos and an actual chicken quesadilla (it's loaded and easily 3 times the size of taco bells) along with a large cheese dip and 2 sweet tea's it's $38.00

and I had leftovers for lunch today, it's wild how close they are in price considering the food quality and quantity

Want some sticker shock, check out a Taco Cabana or Whataburger, and guard your wallet

You can get a square meal for $5 from fast food joints, if you’re a pro. Most people honed the craft in college (granted it was $3 or less then).

It's crazy how much Taco Bell has raised their prices. You could eat like a king for $5 there about 10 years ago.

Cravings box is the best deal (on the app)

$5
chalupa or crunchwrap or gordita
taco or 5 layer burrito
cheese & chips or potatoes
drink

four-piece McNugget, small fries, a small drink and either a McDouble burger or a McChicken

It wasn’t that long ago that you could get those 4 items for less than $5. They were all apart of the $1 value menu. Hopefully they call it the Covid Presidential special, it started under Trump and just got worse under Biden.

That means 100% processed and fake food is coming your way, no way they can use real food through the current supply chain and keep things at that price
We're talking McNuggets and McDonalds burgers here. What's left to process, the four pieces of onion?

It hasn’t been that long ago that a cravings box at Taco Bell was $5.99. It’s almost twice that now.

It's $5 on the app every day. Some of y'all need to embrace technology

Remember back in the late 90s when they did 30 cent Cheeseburgers on Wednesdays.

5 dollars for 15 cheeseburgers. Now that was a deal.

It's amazing that you can now eat at a real restaurant for as much or CHEAPER than these fast food chains.

I can eat at an actual Mexican restaurant cheaper than Taco Bell.

McDonald’s have been using actors in their commercials for years that look like their target audience. Had not gone unnoticed.

A $5 sandwich or whatever isn’t going to reverse that. Chick Fil A is not that cheap and they are throwing haymakers at McDonald’s. Good riddance McD with your self serve Kiosks.

As long as welfare pays the tab, what does McDonald’s care about inflation? Just remember, no matter how bad a part of town you’re in, even if every business short of a Dollar General has long ago fled, McDonalds will thrive… and most footing the bill never eat the first BigMac.

If they are seeing more revenue....who cares? McDonalds is everywhere. They have a lot of market power, and people are clearly willing to sacrifice quality and value for convenience and speedy service.

Taco Bell and Sonic are completely ridiculous price wise. Not sure why anybody would go there anymore
