I would eat so much more crawfish if we could figure out a way to make this work.

True story...I am a South La. Native and had relocated to the Charleston, SC area. They have a Cajun Festival out on James Island every year in early April. It really was well done with good Zydeco and cajun music on the stage and actually had a fair amount of vendors serving up authentic cajun festival type food including their boiled crawfish. I spoke with plenty and most were from various parts of La. Well my SC friends were impressed with how fast I could tear through some crawfish so they egged me on to join the crawfish eating contest. I was feeling good on Abita Amber and decided let's show these folks how it's done. Signed up, and since there were quite a few folks doing it, I was in the 2nd group to go on stage to compete for finals. I shite you not, there were 6 people on stage in the 1st group and 4 of them were eating them by just chomping the tail shell and all and swallowing just like Ole girl in this video except heads were tossed immediately. I still went up for my free plate, but that shite was disturbing to witness.

I was at a seafood restaurant one time and a guy at a table near me was eating boiled shrimp without peeling them.

That’s the correct way to eat a crawfish if you are an otter.
