Go to Anton's on Coursey and see George. Honest as they come. My father in law is from Europe. Bought his Rolex at the home store in Switzerland. Had it serviced there every few years on return trips to visit family. Because covid did not have it serviced there but used a local store in BR. Just found out it now has a counterfeit movement when he brought it to Rolex in Switzerland because it was quickly losing time. Local store denies it was them but I doubt Rolex is installing counterfeit movements.

Glad to see your endorsement for LA. I need to send the 16800 for service and I just don’t want to risk sending it to Michael Young. I was fine with the bracelet, but I would be a nervous wreck.

My Rolex never kept goo time for the several years that I had it. I tried having it serviced by different Rolex certified people and finally gave up and sold it.

I just paid $1100 to have my 1982 Day Date serviced in Augusta at Windsor's over near Augusta National. They're Rolex certified.

That particular watch had not been serviced in 42 years.
You can expect to pay between $1000-$2000 for periodic cleaning and servicing at a Rolex authorized service center imho.
I highly recommend Windsor's.

Have you ever sent your Breitling to Breitling for service? I’ve had mine about 6 years and just contacted them about routine service. Looks like a decent deal other than long turn around time.

Lee Michaels just did one for me. $1,100 standard plus parts. Came out just under 1500. They refused any work on the jubilee bracelet. Said it was too far gone. Recommended replacing. $4200 for same or 2600 for the two tone oyster bracelet. This is my grandfather’s watch and I really don’t want to give up the original bracelet so I just left it.

I'm pretty sure Obtuse has an excellent guy for repairing jubilee bracelets. He'll come back by and drop the name if you're interested

Almost refreshing after a poster on TRF got so triggered with me for saying both myself and an SA at an AD agreed 2x retail for an OP was silly. She then proceeded to explain she gets emotional as she views her watches as her babies and “is passionate about the brand”.

Michael Young @ Classic Watch Repair is a magician with bracelets. He did my 40 year old one and it's better than new.

i find the youtube videos where the guys take old watches apart and restore them to be fascinating. I'll sit and watch the entire video.

Michael Hui at Rolliworks can work wonders with a stretched bracelet and just about any high level case re-finishing/laser welding you need. He is in Miami now. He also does service, but his outfit is know for bracelet and case rebuilding/repair.

I had my 1999 Sub serviced about 6 months ago at Aucoin Hart in Old Metairie. Cost was $900. It took about 10 weeks as the mainspring barrel was backordered and I had to wait my place in line. I thought about using New Orleans Watchmakers, but for peace of mind, it was worth the money to bring it to an authorized RSC.
Overall, they did an excellent job and the service and sales team were fantastic. Maybe they were so friendly because I geek out about every exhibition model in the store each time I stop in there lol

I have never owned a Breitling and don't know anything about their servicing but long turn around times is par for the course with manufacturer servicing.

You have two great options, as Bigpapi mentioned Mike Hui at Rolliworks in Miami is excellent. The only person that is considered better is Mike Young (Classic Watch Repair). The only issue he is in Hong Kong. But a lot of bracelets have made the round trip from the US but I understand some people's reticence.
