State Rankings

While LA only ranks dead last in one category (crime), they are in the bottom 10 of all categories and bottom 5 of all but 2.

I moved to TX in 2015, but spent the first 24 years of my life living in Baton Rouge and New Orleans. In those days, I would have believed LA to be superior to at least MS and Arkansas.

I know it’s popular to shite on the state on this board, but for those still living there, do you feel like this is accurate? And if so, do you think you need to leave or that things can change for the better?

Don't see Alabama fighting with Mississippi and Louisiana on these lists anymore. Alabama zoomed by Louisiana at some point!

What’s holding me back is leaving a LCOL state to make less money.

We don’t have the demographics for things to get better

You don't have to go past their top 10 to realize the list is complete & utter shite.

South Carolina at 41 is laughable but if this ranking helps keep Yankees and their terrible driving and culture out of my state, then put us at 50th for all I care.

Without seeing the list, I'm gonna guess I wouldn't want much to do with most of their top ten.

I know man. Screw all the crime and poverty ridden places in New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts!

Being uneducated, fat, and useless is the way to go

How does Louisiana rank when it comes to diversity? Because, that’s the only thing that truly matters.

I agree Washington and Minnesota are too high but I think that's mainly due to jobs.

NH, Iowa, Vermont, and Massachusetts are solid places though.

There is no way Fiscal Responsibility is #41

The reason Louisiana is 50th is shitty Fiscal Responsibility.

Should be 50th in that for sure.
