It seems like its hard to find anyone in New Orleans, Metairie, or Kenner that use them.

People dont realize that it's a safety issue and a common courtesy.

Is there anything lazier than not moving your pinkie finger to turn on your blinker? I just can't stand lazy people.

Sometimes I forget, but I try to use it for basically all turns and lane changes.

Only turn that I typically don’t use it for is turning into my driveway off of my quiet street, unless someone is behind me.

I overuse it. Use it even when there’s only one direction option from the lane I’m in.

I use one if someone is behind me or at the intersection I'm turning into. Otherwise I'm not using it. If I'm at a light with an arrow I don't need the blinker on. I use it occasionally. Not regularly.

My chauffeur has clear instructions to follow all traffic laws and posted speed limits, including signalling to change lanes...

Now, when I pull the slab out to do some tipping on 4 4's, wrapped in 4 Vogues, dripping candy paint, and swanging and banging, the turn signal is optional...

Sometimes you don’t have time to use a turn signal. And also, many assholes will see you’re trying to change lanes, and they’ll quickly drive up or do some other horseshite, to ensure you can’t get over.

I find myself doing it when there is no traffic and feel stupid.

It's how we communicate with other drivers. When there's someone to communicate with I use it. When there's not, I don't.

if im turning or changing lanes and someone is behind me within a reasonable distance i do.

my wife busts my chops for not using it sometimes when i lane change, when there is a care half a mile back. Like he was going to activate warp drive and catch up to me.

I do the opposite.. I’ll often only make room for someone to change lanes if they use a turn signal.

I was just noticing this the other day. It really does seem like fewer people use it compared to 15-20 years ago.

I do this as well.

Easier to make it a habit than to remember the conditions where you’re turning/lane changing and don’t need to.

My faith in humanity is somewhat restored.

I often imagine what traffic would be like if we were all speed walking instead of driving. The assholes would really stand out and probably get their asses kicked.

This is the root of road rage....you're in a vehicle, you're lazy, you dont give a frick about anyone but yourself.

Those people should be sterilized.

It's so ingrained in me to use it, that sometimes I will use it even backing out of my long driveway, or on a back road that has 90 degree zig zags. Then I ask myself why I did that. It's just second nature to where I don't even think about it and use it to the point that I sometimes use it even when I don't need to.
