Tommy's Famous in Mountain View, AR does a fantastic job with ribs.

Count Porkula in Little Rock is better in my opinion. Haven’t been impressed by the new Wright’s location in Little Rock. I went to the Johnson location years ago and it was pretty good.

It’s almost like they threw out the most celebrated 50-100 BBQ places in the country and decided to make a “best of the rest” list

Some of those photos are terrible and the fact that none of the restaurants were like “uh please don’t show that horribly dry no smoke ring brisket under our name” is telling

I don't know if it is the best or even in Arkansas but I visited more than once and thought it was pretty good.

The Little Rock area has some good hole in the wall BBQ places, you just have to know where to find them.

I visited both Johnson and Bentonville, I thought both were pretty good. When you expand like they did, it becomes harder to manage and quality can go down.

I realize it is Yelp. but that is such a ridiculous list. I hit up Hot Spot in Pensacola last year while on vacation. It wasn't the worst I have ever had, but it was in the running. It wouldn't be in business in Texas/Memphis/Carolinas.

Corkscrew in Spring is pretty good but it is top 3 at best for Houston. Truth and Blood Bros are both much better.

Looks like a fru fru bar that sells expensive barbecue inside the big southern cities.

The one in Bentonville is pretty good, I don't know about the rest in the other parts of the state.

well, it is two old black women with no air conditioner not too far from Forrest "Nathan Bedford" City.

They've cussed me out more than once for too big of orders. Don't slow me down none.
