If you are saying he did not get massively over paid you are biased or delusional.

What he got paid is about to become standard AAV for his tier

Are you really trying to compare Carr to Goff last year?

Please don't.

Goff had a better everything but he was clearly the better qb.

By how much?

If you had your pick right now, you’re taking Carr? Lol

Goff is top 10 in clean pocket DVOA, one of the worst in pressure DVOA He doesn’t elevate an offense but can do well if things are good around him. That’s basically it. A lot of money

Correct.

There are like 5 QBs in the NFL who can “elevate an offense”.

Goff is getting paid like he’s one of tge five.

He’s mid tier like Carr is. For 20 million more per year.

Newsflash.... average qbs are getting huge money. Goff is younger than Carr. What do you want the lions to do? Not sign Goff?

Goff is the same guy he was with the Rams. With a good o line and talent he will deliver the ball where it needs to be. Has a great arm. Goff isn't a guy that is going to do much off schedule.

Goff is probably better than Carr, especially factoring in age.

And Derek Carr was a top 10 highest paid QB when he signed his deal. You still don’t understand what the increased salary cap means when these guys sign their deal?

Goff took over a 4 win Rams team and a 3 win Lion team and has a record that sits 16 games over .500

Carr was at the wheel 9 years for the Raiders and is 17 frickin games below .500

You simply don’t know ball if you think these two QBs are peers

The Lions are right on the door step.

Did you watch them at all last year?

They are right there.

His career winning percentage in games below 50 degrees is one of the worst in the NFL. Google (Goff and cold weather) plenty of info on that. He got to the Super Bowl because of a officiating blunder. Other than that, he's won nothing and will continue to do so unless he gets home field throughout the playoffs

Correct.

They are 21-13 during thier success story and theyve done nothing significant.

Naw.

Uh, Ive been saying this.

Daniel Jones 40 mill, Mayfield 33 mill, Cousins 45 mill a year.

Thats my point. Yet somehow the chicken littles are still whining about Carr’s contract.

Carr compiled a lot of stats against shitty teams when our season was over

He also Screwed our chances at getting a top 10 pick and maybe being able to trade for Jayden Daniels

Wait are they paying him for you to bitch about him not getting stats? Or just bitch about him for not completely fricking the season so we could draft Jayden whom most here say Allen would ruin?

Guess in the end the only answer for you is it's Carr's fault, am I correct?

How much of that was offset with Josh McDaniels (without Brady) as HC?
