Yes, they have a title window. We are failing to win the worst division in football.

The Lions are 21-13 over a two year span, and lost in the NFC championship game and you think they are the “championship model.”

You’re talking about ~ 4% in terms of cap space the contracts occupy.

Probably about how it should be for a team leader who has been to the Super Bowl, another NFCCG and a divisional round. Played on 4 win and 3 win LA and DET teams, only to make deep playoff runs with each. A guy who has a 57% win vs a guy who has lost both playoff games he was in with a career 45% win

Throw out the stats, Goff just has a winning edge. I’ve always been impressed by Goff since he brought the rams back from down 13 to earn a trip to the superbowl in 2018

I’d say it’s close. Goff is a proven playoff caliber quarterback. The only difference is I think Goff is worth maybe 35-40 million per year. Carr is worth about 20

thank you for your deemed perceived random values. We'll send notice to the league and 32 GM's.

Geno = 25/year
Minshew = 12/year
Carr is in this caliber. This is the transition qb very low chance of postseason success realm. Funny enough minshew is actually 2-0 in the playoffs.

Mahomes is 45/year
I could never justify paying a qb more than what Mahomes makes even though alot of teams are. Daniel jones makes 40/year which is hilarious. So I guess you could justify paying Goff around 40.

I mean him and geno looked identical last year.

Carr: 17 games, 3900 yards, 25 toucdowns
Geno: 15 games, 3700 yards, 21 touchdowns

I think looking at qbr is kinda stupid but since face painters love to bring up QBR:

Minshew: 59.6
Geno: 59.5
Carr: 56.5

I don't think its a stretch to call them the same caliber.

its a huge stretch. carr is and always was a franchise. Geno has like 2 years in a career worth discussing.

Both Carr and Geno are borderline starters. They are both on the last leg of their uneventful careers. I can compare whoever the frick I want to derek carr and it wouldn't be a "stretch". You know why? Because he's Derek fricking Carr

And in all those starts hasn’t really lead his teams to anything. A “franchise” QB should carry his team to something at some point even if it’s a couple of wildcard births/wins.

He's got 5 playoff wins. One of which was a NFC championship. I don't think he's an elite QB but to say he's never won anything is just false.

Carr has legitimately never won shite. Literally nothing.
