I asked if this was the first person that Comcast had ever served that died, but she said the rules were she had to either cancel it herself or she had to pay another six months of cable. I then asked her if digging up my grandmother’s corpse and going full Weekend at Bernie’s was good enough, or if I could bring a psychic or local necromancer to summon her back from reuniting with her husband, parents, and loved ones all to cancel her cable bill?

A few days later my own mother then had to go down there herself and lie that she was her own deceased mother to cancel the cable. frick these people.

seems like that will be one of the better bundles though.

After mailing the last one my mom called thier support to follow-up and they said they had the death certificate in hand but couldn't make any changes to the account. They’re just pure evil. There’s no other reason to do that other than they are evil.

This one is much more petty, but I moved to another city once and cancelled my Comcast subscription, and then the next month I got fricking billed for it. Was probably on the phone for two and a half hours, but when I finally got through they told me that I gave them the box just to store it which would mean I’m still paying them instead of cancelling it. You know god damn well that’s not what happened, and just the blatant lies from their staff.

Comcast has a lower approval rating than the IRS, which is really saying something. Just ridiculously evil.
