May the best man win

Unfortunately for the CFP, that’s an unfair fight. It’s too bad. First-ever on-campus tourney games at FBS level.

I hope college football gets fricking annihilated in the ratings.

I hate all of the changes to the sport I grew up loving. I want to see it fail spectacularly.

It isn't college football anymore. It's a shitty, watered down version of the NFL.

Only writers and tv execs care about ratings.

I can’t see why people would watch an nfl regular season game vs a cfp game.

I’d watch the cfp game over the saints

Do you care about tv ratings? Does it impact your viewing of the games?

I assume terrible stuff like the players being able to earn money like everyone else

It will never go back to the over romanticized vision you have of the past

We're all going to be flipping back and forth and will settle in on which one is the better game.

Ok… I agree… I don’t really care about ratings. I’m gonna watch what I want to anyway…

I don’t. But your initial statement is wildly inaccurate.

It's the annual unlimited free agency and the constant conference realignment. Traditions and rivalries are what made college football special. As traditions and rivalries get whittled away every year, what's left? The actual on field product isn't even remotely comparable.

Because the NFL is a far superior product compared to CFB?

CFP has been a full of bad games and/or blowouts.

Fans certainly don’t care so this is a nonissue. Play every game on the same day, who cares

I guess so?

There are none of these in the NFL?

So you want to see CFB fail in favor of a league that just banned a “hip drop tackle” Aka a tackle? Which also gives more power to referees.

I mean. Some might when you understand how this all works.
