If you're rooting for Caitlin to fail because it starts to kill media narrative then I'm with you.

Personally? I hope she does well for her own sake. But not to prove some kind of stupid point for muh fem.

Didn't watch a minute of course, except for a one minute YouTube video that popped up.

She was apparently called for two bogus fouls in the first 5 minutes and taken out of the game....

I think the WNBA needs to issue refunds to the ticket buyers.

What is this League doing?

Imagine having such a fragile ego that a woman’s existence threatens you.

Why would anyone care about the athletic equivalent of a 7th grade AAU game

Sportscenter pumping her like a virgin on prom night. I've watched more WNBA highlights tonight after the hockey game ended than I have in my entire life. Before this commercial break, they hyped more WNBA highlights and commentary. Currently looking for a 40 year old episode of Murder She Wrote that's more interesting.

I watched about 1 minute flipping through the channels, two possessions. She was immediately double teamed both times, turnover once and had to pass it the second time.

If you’re being double teamed at the top of the key, you’re the best player on the court. WNBA needs to embrace her because their actions in game are speaking louder than their words on TV of her not being good.

It’s the WNBA. It will stay popular this year but will slowly fad back to unwatchable tv.

All of this. I think all this media hype dies down after this season when they realize it only changed things for a few months. Women's basketball just doesn't appeal to me and never will

She still had 20 points in a game where she really struggled. OP seems to have an ax to grind.

Maybe, but who cares one way or the other.

Nobody is saying she isn't good...for a girl. That's fine, the women's game just isn't fun to watch. If I want to see fundamentals be the star, I'll go watch my local middle school boys.

The constant shoving down our throats of a player of a game nobody watches is the issue. They are trying to convince people she could go to the regular NBA and rack up double doubles.
